Why Crackers?
I was with my good friend when she purchased her first nutcracker from an antique mall in southeast Missouri sometime in the 2010s. That first nutcracker quickly multiplied into a plethora of adorable, funny and stately wooden characters crowding her home every Christmas.
My friend group loves to get updates on her stash, and share whenever we spot cute little “crackers” out in the wild.
Thus the inspiration for Crackers — my little nutcracker collector site. Inspired by keeping that Christmas Cracker feeling alive all year long.
Of course, you could just post to Facebook. I totally get that. But I wanted a space for cracker collectors to showcase their collection for fellow admirers. And a space that wouldn't be infiltrated by ads, rage-bait, or more bad news. Just a dedicated happy space for nutcracker lovers of all stripes.
